What is THE GAME?

Interestingly enough . . . THE GAME is GOLF! We play the ball where it lies and any score (putt) that counts in either the team or individual game, MUST go to the bottom of the cup. It’s really pretty simple, we try to play GOLF!

The Game is full at this time. Guests are welcome to play when accompanied by a member of THE GAME.

What tee boxes are played in THE GAME?

Members of THE GAME may play either the Green, White, White/Gold or Gold tees. You may change tee boxes during your FIRST ROUND played each quarter and then must stay with that tee box for the remainder of the quarter. We adjust handicaps and quotas by two (2) strokes for each tee box up or back.

What games are played in THE GAME?

We play a variety of games! Unlike a lot of groups that play the same game every day, we try to mix up the games and make sure everyone on the team matters.

Where is THE GAME played?

THE GAME is made up of a group of men, who are members at The Club at The Strand. Other than summer reciprocals, we play all of our games at The Club at The Strand. We play all three courses.

When is THE GAME played?

A.
THE GAME is played on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from October 1st to April 30th. We also have a summer group that plays both at The Cub at The Strand and various reciprocals. Our usual tee time on Tuesday and Thursday is around 11:30am - Noon. On Saturday, we try to play a little earlier. In the summer we play around 8:00am.

The most important part of THE GAME is the camaraderie among the guys - to have fun!
