This is a “true” Alternate Shot event.

• One player will tee off on all the odd number holes and the other will tee off on all the even number holes.
• After teeing off the other member of the team will hit the second shot and so on, and so on.
• You will use the same ball all the way through on each hole.
• Teams will be paired by handicap, with lowest vs. lowest and highest vs. highest, etc.
• This is an (Aces vs. Eagles) event.
• Teams will receive 50% of the total team's handicap.
• This is a “Match Play” event.
• All match play and rules of golf are in effect.
• Winning Two-Man teams will receive 250 TOC Points for each player.
• All members of the team winning the most matches will also receive an additional 50 TOC points.
• Winning two-man teams will receive cash & prizes.

Ryder Cup 2021 Captains & Teams will be selected following this Alternate Shot Tournament

The two players with the most TOC points following the Alternate Shot Tournament will be Captains of the Ryder Cup 2021 teams. Their first selections will be the Co-Captains.  These players will then select their teams for the Ryder Cup 2021, as well as the names for those teams. We will use these names for all events next season.
